Half of the Great Barrier Reef is either dead or dying, and 93% of it is now bleached. Coral bleaches when it’s highly stressed due to pollution, overheating, or disease. If climate conditions do not change, most of the reef will probably disappear. Source Source 2 Source 3

Though the median annual earnings of all women is 79¢ to the dollar, there are some specifics we should also be aware of. It’s 60¢ on the dollar for Black women. 55¢ on the dollar for Hispanic women. Trans? Older than 35? Physically disabled? All lower than that median of 79¢.

White Hawk, the widow of Chief Bigfoot, who was killed during the Wounded Knee massacre.
Today marks 125 years since Wounded Knee Massacre. On December 29 1890 about 300 Lakota Sioux men, women and children were surrounded by the 7th Cavalry Regiment lead by Colonel James Forsyth and massacred. Of the 300 Natives about 200 were women and children. At least twenty US troopers were awarded the coveted Medal of Honor for the massacre of innocent Lakota Sioux. Sending love and respect to my Lakota Sioux brothers and sisters.
